Amen.

I don't know why these statements sparked your ire...they read like run-of-the-mill political speeches to me.

ainge

his minions think he's some kind of revolutionary, so this crap is notable to me.

"maybe living out west has impaired my judgement, but people dont love the liberals as much as liberals like to think they do."

actually i learned to dislike them in ontario, since the frequency of pointless boring narscism is even higher than out west.

Iggy is another in a long line of Liberals who think us Canadians can not think for ourselves, and it is up to him and the liberal party to tell us how to live. Harper scares him because Harper is actually doing what the majority of Canadians want done.
People will take another look at the Liberal party and will see that there is nothing there other than arrogance.

Kerrie

Ignatieff can hardly be blamed for choosing Liberal, he's doing it by default just like Canadians have done for the majority of their voting history.

Homer J Simpson: "Yes! Default! Default! Default!" Should be the motto of the Canadian Liberals.

ainge

kerrie, that was the awesomest comment on this thread.

sorry bza... but i think youve had the "awesomest comment on this thread" title hundreds of times here at lotusland.

Iggy is just syaing he gets it.

The fear Harper bullshit worked so well it gave Harper a minority instead of a majority.

Different senior voters I spoke with said, usually in a trembling voice, **Oh Harper is too scarey.**.

The daily drip - drip from the CBC really made that one work. TG

A warming trend?

Iran is lining up Israeli targets
**
Although the Lebanese government technically controls the border area, its military is not considered strong enough to control Hizbollah, which takes its orders directly from Teheran.

*Iran is playing a very dangerous game of cat and mouse on our northern border and it could easily spiral out of control at any moment,* said the officer.

In recent weeks Hizbollah sent unmanned aircraft on reconnaissance missions over the border to photograph sensitive Israeli military installations. The spy planes returned to base before being detected by air defence systems.

Looks like an unpleasant warming up… TG

I think the UN would ruin the Internet,..no no no!
================================
The U.S. government has reportedly indicated it wants more disclosure rather than less.
But according to the Journal, Rotenberg says the government is in a "delicate political position” because it wants ICANN to retain control of the Internet rather than the United Nations, as some countries have proposed. So it is crucial for ICANN to function as an independent body – even if it sometimes goes against U.S. policy.

Move Toward Web Site Anonymity
The organization that runs the Internet is considering a rule change that would prevent corporate and government investigators from finding the owners of fraudulent Web sites.

Don*t be fixin* what ain*t broke. Puleeze!
Or, It may not actually be advantageous to implement these faulty proposals. TG
